The War We Are Losing.

**Warning, descriptions may be to 'graphic' or 'harsh' for those who don't agree with Spiritual Warfare. If you are a person who doesn't understand, or agree with, the act of Spiritual Warfare don't read this. Don't waste your time. If you are then read on my friend, read on.**

Last night I attended Merge, which is a intercession prayer group at a church I love. Breakthrough Life Center. We were interceding for the upcoming Election day and praying for things to come. God pulled a double time throw back for me, which I completely love! He shows me 'clips' of things. He gets me to close my eyes and He paints a picture for me. You could also call it visions. Whatever makes you feel not offended.

The first one was more of a slap in my own face. Correction. The second one set me on fire with urgency. I'm a Spiritual Warfare girl. When it comes down to it, I will pace my living room floor, run up and down my stairs, and pray until I can't move. I never considered myself a prayer warrior until a few years ago. There is a difference between praying and 'going to battle.' All a great conversation for another day.

I closed my eyes and I saw a battlefield. One that I usually see if I'm doing battle. Reds, oranges, yellows, lightening. Bloodshed. It's very violent. But this time something was completely different. On the front line are people locking arms with each other running towards the enemy with great force. It's almost like they are just trampling overtop of the enemy with no real sense of worry, fear, or reservation. I was stoked. But God rewinded it. He showed me that's what the battle lines of our forefathers looked like. When people had unity.

As I watched this scene unfold again, there are breaks in the line. He explained that it was from breaking in the body of Christ. Where denominations formed. Let me stop right here and declare that I am NOT saying that certain denominations are wrong or bad. Everyone has a different ways to be reached. God showed me that it ISN'T the breaking of the denominations. It's the lack of backbone in these denominations. Where we worry so much about offending people then preaching the word of God. When you pick out a portion of scripture and go against it, do you have ANY idea what you are doing?

First of all you are taking away from the Word of God, which we are warned about in Revelations. AND you will be held accountable for those you 'lead'. If a Pastor were to stand in front of the church and declare that it is OKAY to steal if you are hungry, does that obey the Word of God? No, it doesn't. That immediately turns that whole church sideways in the fight and now they are leaving themselves vulnerable to being attacked from the side. Now there isn't just division, but an open window.

Upon another replay, I saw the colors change. From Reds, Oranges, and Yellows to Blues, Greens, and Purples. The church is spending way to much time trying not to offend people that we have lost sight of the fact that we are in a war! It becomes fluff. Do you know what fluff means? Feel good sermons. If you leave church feeling warm and fuzzy EVERY Sunday, there is no fight in you. Pastors spend to much time worrying about offense then fearing the wrath of God. Yes, the wrath. If you were going into the army, would you spend all your time sitting on the couch eating candy? No, you would boost your protein intake and work your butt off. Why is it any different in the body? We have GOT to stop living off fluff and start eating some meat!

Now what? This battle scene is no more than a scene out of woodstock! People with flowers telling each other just to love. The church looks/is weak, and the enemy knows it. He slides through the cracks. While we are all talking about loving and feel good stuff, he attacks from behind. We all completely fall and ask 'God where are you?' When it is our own fault that we have lost our drive and our focus. The enemy has created the BEST distraction, ourselves. WE have brought this division, WE have brought forth this break in the front line.

We have to start putting aside our differences and start training. We are weak. We are separated. We focus more on the differences of each other than the enemy we are all fighting against. What an amazing plan. When are we going to stop this and start fighting again? One church can't do battle for everyone! One person can't do battle for their church alone. It would be like 15 people facing one direction and one person facing the opposing. The one is trying to do the work of 16. That person will get tired. That person will push as hard as they can. We need EVERYONE to WAKE UP and start fighting the real enemy!!
