Spread it on thick

Let's start with a recap. With assistance from Biblegateway and Galatians, here are some of the already covered ways that you can spot a false teacher. A false prophet will distract Christians from obeying the truth of the Gospel. Just like a runner, we have to be very aware of our surroundings just in case someone is "dirty" runner and tries to cut them off. It would cause a distraction from the task at hand, finishing the race. They would give false hope in their speeches, like politicians, but speak very well. They will over place the call of God with their own agenda. They will attempt to control situations and take over the direction of the church. They will cause confusion and discouragement in the body of Christ. Now on to verse 11.

Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of of the cross has been abolished.

I'll be completely honest, I don't understand the reason that circumcision was such a huge issue with the Jewish tradition, Gentiles, and the law. But what I'm gathering from what I have researched is that he was being persecuted for something that he was not doing. There was a lot of false accusations and confusion coming from all this. False teachers spread false reports about spiritual leaders. All these videos that you see on you tube saying that certain people are false teachers, well there ya go.

God's word tells us over and over that it is not our job to judge. Matthew 7:1 tells us that we are not to judge or we too will be judged. That's exactly what false teachers are doing. They are adding a wonderful list to their judgement day page. God is the final judge, so if you make false accusations about a pastor saying they are a fake, be warned. There is nothing wrong with feeling something wrong with what they are teaching. There is nothing wrong with feeling that they are a false teacher. But do not make that an outward statement.
