Don't read your tattoo, Live it."

This morning, while flipping through twitter, I saw Jimmy Fallon's tweet about "Don't read your tattoo, Live it." I'm sure it was part of a hilarious part of the tonight show BUT it got me thinking about all my tattoo's and what they meant to me. I didn't get through all of them before I had to leave for work. All but one....

On my way out I listened to music, as normal. I was listening to Misty Edwards My soul longs for you. The song is 2 simple phrases. 'My soul longs for you, nothing else will do' and 'I believe, you will come like the rain.' I started thinking really intensely about what that meant. I believe you will come like the rain.

After some thought my mind flowed back to my tattoo that I didn't get to.

My favorite bible story. Noah's ark." I believe you will come like the rain." Can you imagine Noah's faith in the time that he built the ark? He BELIEVED that God would send the rain. They had never seen rain. No one knew what rain was. BUT Noah was obedient and remained steady in his work.

What is there in your life that you have never been able to see happen before that you have been praying for? Do you believe that God will make it happen like Noah believed that the rain would come? Something that seems so impossible that no one else believes will happen?

In order for us to see these things come to pass, we have to be obedient and remain steady in our work. We have to live like we have never seen rain and we believe that God will come and change our circumstances like Noah believed the rain would come. What are you believing that God will change in your life? Are you believing in Him like Noah believed that it would rain?
