Here I sit, finishing up some paperwork and I hear the most devastating sound. The cabinet opening and all the Tupperware hitting the floor. All the Tupperware I just put up 15 minutes ago. Then the sound of the cabinet closing and giggles coming from my kitchen. Really kid? I mean really??!?! You have a toybox FULL of toys and you pull all the Tupperware out and throw them on the floor.
I can be honest and tell you I want to melt in the floor and cry. As I sit here holding my junk together for a few more minutes God tells me to change my perspective. My son is creative. He's in the kitchen hiding in the cabinet. My son walked into the kitchen, opened the cabinet, and used his hands to pull out the Tupperware. He reminded me that there are children who aren't as lucky. There are children with disabilities.
The longer I am a Christian, the more I see things completely differently. Whatever situation you are facing right now, look at it from a different angle. If you have constantly been looking at it and it wears you down or makes you depressed, then maybe you need to change your thought process. Look at it differently today and change your outcome.
Have a great Friday!
