Be on fire but not consumed.

This morning, as I was working on some things for the church, I came across a portion of scripture that rocked my soul and I had to share it with you.

The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed.

Exodus 3:2

What I think is amazing about this, well. The angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in a blazing fire. Boom. God doesn't just do it simply does he? A bush, on fire, BUT NOT BEING CONSUMED! My mind is going wild right now. I'm just going to do EVERY analogy that I can.

If you are in a season, or a trial, that you can't seem to get out of.

The flames are around you but they aren't going to consume you. When we are under fire and pressed we turn into diamonds. I don't know what your situation is but I know that God hasn't let anyone down. We have to feel like we are on fire. Overwhelmed, beaten down, barely keeping yourself from floating. HANG ON! Your help is on the way. Look at this scripture and know that whatever is going on isn't going to consume you. It's not going to take you out! Keep HOLDING on to what you know. That JOY COMES IN THE MORNING!

If you are in a season where you feel like you have no passion or drive.

The fire was placed in you when you called out to Jesus. That fire isn't going to go out unless you let it. The burning bush was not consumed but a constant burn. If it were to be consumed, it would have gone out. You have a flame in there. You have to fan it. You have to feed it. It doesn't go burning on its own. We have to be consistent and keep our flame burning.

Hopefully, this blessed you! Have a great night!
