Just do it

I've talked about this before. A few times actually. Apparently someone needs to hear it again. So here we go...... Obedience.....

I was working on dinner last night and someone had been crossing my mind. It had been a few times a day and God told me to write them an email to tell them I had been praying for them. He sounded like it was urgent. Despirate almost. I stopped cutting the steak and sent them an email. We weren't friends on Facebook so I knew they may not see it for a while.

However, I assumed that since He sounded so urgent they would email quickly. It's currently 9:55am and they still haven't gotten the email. Can I just say that I approached God and asked Him, "Dude, why did you make this email sound so urgent if they weren't goin to get it immediately?" We have a weird relationship.

Gods response floored me, once again.

You know Deborah, if you can't be obedient when I give you instructions, how am I supposed to trust you?

I'm wondering what instruction God is giving you that you haven't been obedient too. What things has He instructed you to do that you haven't been able to?
