I was highly encouraged by this and it's probably why it's on the search results for encouraging quotes. Listening to TD Jakes the other evening I heard him say that if you have the vision God will send the provision. We have to be able to trust that God will provide a way for our crazy ideas even when we don't see it working.
I have dreams that I've never spoken to anyone before. Not even my mother or husband. I'm talking years and years and years of dreaming about these things. I even had someone tell me, possibly in a joking manner, "one day that will be you." Little did that person know that it was a desire of my heart. Now, I'm seeing a opportunity to actually do those things.
I have other dreams too. Not dormant but unspoken. I trust that God knows my heart and He knows my intentions for those things. Eventually, one day, I hope to see them come to pass. But I trust God that even though my future is unknown that He knows what He is doing. Every morning we have to approach the day with this attitude. That we are unafraid of what the day is going to provide for us. We have to know that we know that we know that we know that God will provide. He knows what He's doing. And it's an ULTIMATE trust exercise!
It's terrifying. It's hard. It's faith pushing. It's a daily decision. Let me tell you that when I found out I was pregnant, I had to put on a whole new level of trust. Obviously, I have trust issues anyway. BUT like I said, DAILY DECISION!!! Wake up every morning with a smile and say God I trust you. Even if you don't believe it.
