The Spirit of Christmas Present.

My mothers favorite ghost. The ghost/spirit of Christmas present. She loves his big personality and constantly says, "Come in and know me better man." He's so filled with joy! I always wondered why. The way that the world is going right now there is no reason for this world to be joyful. This spirit is a contradiction to the world. THAT'S GOOD! Because this spirit lives every day like it's his last. This spirit knows the end result. This spirit knows that in the end, Satan loses. He doesn't live by this worlds expectations. He lives according to God's.

When God gets into your life and changes you, everything changes. We learn in revelations that the enemy is defeated. Yet lots of Christians seem to live like the enemy has a step ahead of them. Everything changes. Everything isn't about you anymore. You become more generous about giving things up. Doing things for others. You remember what Scrooge did the minute he woke up? He instantly thought of others. He ended up giving gifts out.

He saw 2 people he knew that had recently asked him for a donation for the poor. He declined before, then he decided to donate money to them. One of the characters said that he wished that he had something to give in return. The other gave him his scarf. The look on Scrooges face was priceless. When God gets in your life and you are given something from someone, your reaction is so much different. That's just one example of how things will change.

We have to live with this spirit inside of us. The here and now. We can't change the past, like previously discussed. We can't change the things that are, only the things that will be. Kicker, we aren't promised the next breath. We can't live like we can do it tomorrow. We have to wake up every morning with the attitude that it could be the last day that we have. Fill it with purpose and know that THE ENEMY HAS BEEN DEFEATED! There is nothing that he can do to you that can take you down unless you allow it to effect you.
