It's a funny thing, God's will. You know a lot of times we get mad at it. Or frustrated with it. Or just flat out don't understand why things are going the way they are. We constantly pray for God's will to be done, but do we really want that? Do we really want what God has in mind or do we sometimes just pray for what we want and call it "God's will."
Here over the last year, I have spent a lot of time stepping back and looking at things and wondering what God's will was. Let's be honest, more like the last 30 minutes. We look at situations and wonder, "man, where is God in all this?" We forget that we live in a fallen world that is flooded with sinners who have NO remorse or knowledge that what they are doing is wrong. Then we have those Christians who claim Christianity but never live it out. OH! Then you have those few who are Christians, who are really trying and make mistakes.
The beautiful thing about this is that we make mistakes. BUT GOD'S WILL SHALL BE DONE! It may take a few detours because of hiccups or people being humans. But in the end, God's will shall be done. It may take a year, 10 years, 20 years, but it will be done. The glorious thing about Christianity is that God is on the throne. And no matter what is going on in the world, God still has it.
I've seen circumstances where there seemed to be NO WAY that things would work out, and they do. I have heard doctors say, "it can't be done" and it is done. I have seen marriages that people said would never work stay together. I have seen impossible things happen. I've experienced impossible. And the one thing I've learned is that God has it all in the palm of his hand.
No matter what it is right now, and I know some people I know are going through IT right now. Know that God has it in the palm of his hand. He knows what he is doing. And HIS WILL will be done. No matter what the devil tries to throw at you, God has the upper hand. Whatever you are facing right now. Place it in God's hand and watch him work. You may have to do a little work, but it's worth it. Not being in God's will, is miserable.
