Fear is not a factor for you.

The Good Dinosaur. 

My son gets on these kicks where he only wants to eat one certain food or watch a certain movie. Right now, it's the good dinosaur. I've had it for a long time, but I've refused to watch it. Disney has gotten very depressing with the whole "lets kill off one of the main characters in the first 20 minutes."  There is a lot that can be learned from this movie though.

This is the quote I want to focus on today. Arlo's father gave him a job to do. Kill the critter who was eating their food. But he let the critter go. His father was angry and told him that if he never got over his fear he wouldn't survive. 

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

On 2 separate occasions recently I have faced my fears. Not head on. Not with grace. Not with excellence. BUT I faced them. The next time I have to face those fears, it will be a little easier. God never said that this life was going to be filled with lollipops and rainbows. He's called us to greatness. With greatness comes great responsibilities. 9 times out of 10, when God tells us our calling, we say, "No way." Usually it's things that we don't every think that we can do. BUT God knows we can.

My husband overcome many many fears in the last 2 months. I'm amazed at the things that he's accomplishing with God's strength. I know that he's a mess on the inside but he doesn't let it show on the outside. Because of his demeanor, I've seen and heard great things!!! But he would tell you that it wasn't because of him doing it on his own. He knows who has carried him through.

When we face things that area difficult and we are filled with fear, we have to rely on trust. We have to trust that God knows what he's doing and that He will carry us through. As you go through your day today, look for opportunities to face fears that you have in your own life. Situations and circumstances to test your faith. Pray over them. 

You will be completely surprised at the things you can accomplish when God pushes you to do the unthinkable.
