Oh Watch Me, Watch Me.

Oh the wonderful whip and nae nae. The insane things that people come up with to make a dollar these days is just hilarious. This isn't a tutorial on how to whip and nae nae, trust me you wouldn't want that. It's a play on words. I live, not of this world, but in this world. I like to use what Satan uses for destruction or "disturbance in the force" and turn it around.

This morning as I was taking some time to myself and praying, there was silence on the other side of the line. To understand the importance of this situation, we must go back. When I was growing up, my mom subscribed to a christian teen magazine. In each issue there was a section called, 'God said, I said.' I would quickly skim the magazine for that article. Deep down inside I would pray that I would have an open line of communication with God like the person in the article. The article was strictly about someone who would write what they said, and then God's response.

To my surprise, this was the way that God communicates with me. It's taken great faith for me to watch God move throughout my life. I know that might strike you as odd. A lot of people can stand in the face of their trials and say, Okay God I wanna see how you move this time. Me, nope. I start freaking out and figure that the worse is gonna happen. I envy, yes envy, people who stand in the midst of their trials and don't freak out like I do. My husband is a great example of this. He doesn't let me see fear in him. He stands and says, okay let's see what God does for us through this situation.

What I'm getting at is that right now, God pushed the mute button on me. I heavily rely on this form of communication. As I prayed this morning I said, God, this is not cool to keep silence on me. Of course I haven't really been heavily seeking a response. He's constantly speaking to me. Then, finally, He said, Watch me, Watch me. (And yes I heard it in the song tune.)

In this season of your life, don't rely on God to move the same way He has before. He wants to take you to a new level in your faith and your walk. He wants to show you new things. The way He's shown himself to you isn't going to go away, He's gonna show you new ways. God isn't a one sided coin, or two for that matter. God moves in different ways. He wants you to know that if you have liked what He's done so far, just wait. He's saying, "Oh, watch me, watch me."
