I made some very interesting points that I figured I would go off of one for today's blog.
I think that the demons were prowling around the area and saw the fight we were putting up (Or lack of fight) as Christians. They ran back to hell and told their master, Satan, all about the fight we had in us (Or what we don't) and we should be knocked down a bit. (We being Christians of course.)
Of course I want to clean up my wording there because I think it's a little. Well, it kinda sucks. During the time I wrote this blog we had experienced a huge amount of horrible crimes. Hannah Graham in Charlottesville had been kidnapped and murdered. There was the killing of an officer. A few kidnappings. Bodies being located. It was a really down time for the community. As I get older, I notice more about the insanity that goes on in the world. I tend to see more bad than good. I had to stop following our local television stations on facebook because it was nothing but bad, bad, bad. I hardly ever saw good. The further in my Christian walk I get the more Spiritual Warfare I encounter.
I'm learning that the stronger I get in my faith the more I am attacked. Satan doesn't want the strongest of soldiers to go against him in battle. He thinks the more he attacks them, they might just give up. Lots do. Not in the way you would think. Not giving up on their faith. Once you've experienced God fully, you don't give up. HOWEVER, you can become complacent and comfortable. I could write on this until my fingers fall off.

One of my favorite songs by Andy Mineo is Uncomfortable. The lyrics that hit me the most are...
God prepare me for the war. Comfort be the thing that will make a king fall. Eyes on the Lord, gotta grip that blade of the sword.
Andy understands that we have to daily grab the things to do battle with. When we are in a comfortable state, we aren't aware of things around us. If we wake up and start going through our day without being ready for battle, we will just get comfortable. He goes onto say I had more when I had less. Because he realizes that when everything is comfortable we lose sight of who gave it to us. We get complacent with everything around us. There's also no thankfulness.
Satan doesn't like Christians, no matter what. He wants to attack us. He wants to drag us down. It's up to us if we allow him or we don't. The choice is yours. Are you going to allow yourself to be comfortable/Cold? Or Ready for battle/Warm?
