Random tidbits to wrap it up!!!

Yesterday I frantically attempted to finish the books on the Spiritual gifts because I have another new book I want to dive into. However, I have found a lot of awesome things since reading the books. I know that there is one more Spiritual Gift that I haven't covered. SURPRISE! I'm not going to cover that one. I think that if you have come this far with me in reading about them, you would want to know more about Interpretation of tongues.

Just some randoms about the Spiritual Gifts until I get to, what I think is, the most important thing I've read out of these 2 books. Some of you might be wondering how you would get these amazing gifts that are given freely. Believing is the first thing. Desiring them would be second. The most outstanding quote out of both of these books was this, God cannot bless ignorance. If you are ignorant about something, why in the world would God give you the blessing. If you are completely ignorant with money, why would God overly bless you with it?

The Holy Spirit is a comforter, advocate, governor, and caretaker. His appearance is like a consuming fire. (My favorite) He can influence the physical universe, but is not Himself influenced by it. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is a separate thing from joining a church. When you join a church you become a part of the body. You can become a hand, or a foot. You become a part of a huge group of people. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is like a level up, or the red mushroom in Mario. We do NOT use the Holy Spirit, it uses us.

These books are FILLED with amazing nuggets of goodness. However, I think that this bit of information I'm about to put out there is the most powerful. As we know, knowledge is power. If we know things, we can be more equip for battle. Now if you do NOT want to be held accountable for the knowledge of knowing what Satan's sneaky sneaky counterfeits are, stop reading here. If you, like me, are completely curious about the evil things that Satan throws out to make us think it's Godly but it's not. Get ready, this will blow your mind.

Satan is a deceiver. A counterfeit angel. Naturally, Satan has something to counterfeit everything that God has put in place, so what makes you think that this would be any different? I'm not going to go into great detail or explanation.

God's Gifting - Satan's Counterfeit

Word of Wisdom - Witches, Soothsayers, and Magicians.

Word of Knowledge - Palm readers and Mediums,

Discerning of Spirits - Psychology and Psychiatry. There is a warning that EPS is extremely dangerous!!!!

Gift of Faith - Witchcraft or Black Magic.

Working of Miracles - Witch Doctor. (Remember the story about Moses and Aaron in the midst of Pharaoh with the staffs.)

Speaking in Tongues and Interpretations - Again, witch. 

Satan is going to do anything to make you think that he is imitating God's blessings. He's always been jealous of God and the power that he has. The great thing is that we have something that is above him. We say in the name of Jesus and boom we have the upper hand. You have to know that in the midst of everything, you have the upper hand because God overtakes Satan ANY DAY! With that, I am closing this 'tidbit' of Spiritual Gift. YAY! Onto the next book!!!!!!
