For the past 5 days I have been listening to the same song on repeat in the car. I didn't originally think I would end up being so attached to it but the more I listen to it the more encouraged I have been. Its actually shown me the biggest obsitcal in my life. I've figured out that its not just me. Its every single person in this world.
In this song, Andy Mineo explains that his biggest enemy is himself. You can think all you want that your biggest obsitcal is money or time but its not. God has a huge wallet! We're all provided with the same amount of time in a day. I know that it isn't the easiest thing to say but take one day and see how much time you spend on your phone? Not talking on it, you know exactly what I mean.
I know that I spend to much time on my phone. I'm writing this blog on it for goodness sake. I know I spend hours on Google searching questions I have during the day. I can easily say that I probably spend about 2-3 hours a day on my phone. Recently, I changed a lot of my habits and attempted to spend less time on it and more time studying but its been a struggle.
The biggest hurdle that you will ever have in your life is your own mind. You are the deciding factor if you fail or succeed. Think about it this way, if you set out to do something and you aren't able to accomplish it and you fail, does that count as a failure? To me, no because at least you tried. You overcame a level of fear to move forward. To the world it may be counted a failure but I would have to say that I would count that as a win. You learned something and gained a. New level of strength or knowledge.
A fail in my book would be when you don't even try at all. You just give up all together. Take dieting for example. If you lose 5 lbs one week and none the next was that a failure? NO! Because you didn't gain any. And even of you gain, as long as you don't give up, that's a win! Fail or succeed is up to the person who is weighing the win or lose.
