Changing my Negative into a Positive.

In my previous post I talked about asking people for things that they did once they began to get stressed out to change their focus. After receiving a good list, I contemplated what I was going to do. I came to the conclusion that my issue wasn't going to be fixed in the moments of my "stressful outbursts." My pastor had mentioned that one way that we give Satan a foothold is spending less time in our word, if any at all. Along with not spending time with God on a daily basis. Because of that, I have actually made a daily word to describe the day. Here's my list.

Motivation Monday
Transformation Tuesday
Worship Wednesday
Thankful Thursday
Fasting Friday
Sacrifice Saturday
Scripture Sunday

Motivation Monday: Spending time getting motivated for the week. Scriptures, exercise, just spending some time to look at my week and instead of hating Monday's, attempting to have a better attitude towards the week.

Transformation Tuesday; Not looking back and dwelling on the past but looking on the transformations that have taken place over my life. My progress spiritually, physically, and with my weight loss.

Worship Wednesday;  Honoring God in prayer and in song.

Thankful Thursday; Thanking God for all He has done.

Fasting Friday; Giving up something physical for 24 hours.

Sacrifice Saturday: Giving up something that needs to be laid at the foot of the cross. Such as my level of stress over things I have no control over. Pain from past circumstances. People I haven't forgiven in my life. Guilt. Blame, Etc.

Scripture Sunday; Spending the day in my word. Searching the scripture and increasing my knowledge.

Do you have anything that you do weekly or daily? Not referring to "selfie sunday" or "Throwback Thursday" but something that's actually worth while? Do you wake up daily and read a scripture or listen to a specific song while you get ready for work? God bless you and yours!!
